Relic in Black and White

I’ve always liked the look of black and white photos. It would be very cool if Canon would make a digital SLR that was B&W only. Due to the weird way digital cameras produce colour from the light striking sensors which are only sensitive to light intensity and not colour, this would actually produce a Relic in Black and White

International By The Roadside

While out for a drive today, we came across this old International pickup just sitting there on the side of the road. I circled back and pulled over to photograph it. Several others either slowed down or stopped to admire this relic as well.

Update on Towns in Massachusetts

After driving through the downtown Lawrence, MA area last night, I can state for the record we won’t be moving there. While I’m certain many people happily call Lawrence home, I won’t be among them. It’s just a little too run down for my taste. On the other hand, I drove up to Lowell — Update on Towns in Massachusetts

Time to Go

Today I drive up to Andover, MA. Tomorrow I start my new job as Sales Engineer for Sentillion. I’m just a little apprehensive. I’ve done the whole move thing countless times before. And I’ve started quite a few new jobs in my day. However, I’ve never done it quite like this: I’ll be living out Time to Go

Another Job, Another Town

I have in my hot little hands a one year contract to provide software development services to Sentillion Software. While I’d been targeting the southern NH area, this is almost as good. Another Job, Another Town

Although Anna hasn’t been hiking this summer as often as I have, the trip to England was definitely good for her stamina Stissing Mountain Conquered

Second Debate

We’ve been listening to the second Presidential Debate, and it certainly sounds like Kerry is kicking Bush’s ass. Kerry has managed to deliver numerous crushing blows to George “Monkey Boy” Bush. These blows will win him the Presidency of the United States of America twenty-five days from today.

Progress

At the end of the month, Anna and I will be flying down to Cancun to join the extended Watkins clan for our family reunion. I don’t think the whole clan has gathered in quite some time. The last gathering might have been back in the mid-Eighties. I know I haven’t seen two of my Progress

On the Road Again

By now it should be common knowledge: I was laid off from my almost brand new job as Director of Business Development for Harte-Hanks. Only 48 days after starting, my boss called me in his office to let me know they didn’t need me any more. He cited my failure to improve the sales pipeline. On the Road Again
