Jan Kabili over at The Unofficial Apple Weblog says:
I have no desire to be plugged into a music player and a telephone all day long. I’d rather have all my senses tuned into the real world. So call me a throwback. I can take it.
Well, I’m a throwback too. After eight years of using only a cellphone, I’m enjoying being cellphone free (even if it will all come to an end in a month or so). Looking at the anarchy that is the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, it occurred to me today that if they weren’t off getting killed in Iraq, we’d have a heck of a lot more National Guardsmen to help out in New Orleans…
I’m not the praying sort these days, but I am certainly sending out a plea for those who need help right now.
